Yaesu FT-1000 Serial Number Date Chart

The first digit is the year of manufacture.
The second character, a letter, (C thru N) is the month of manufacture.
C=Jan
D=Feb
E=Mar
F=Apr
G=May
H=June
I=July
J=Aug
K=Sep
L=Oct
M=Nov
N=Dec
The next 2 digits is lot number; 01 is the first lot, and so
on……………….
The last 4 digits is a sequential serial number 0001-9999

    I HAVE AN FT-1000D SN 4I400XXX AND YAESU TOLD ME IT WAS MADE IN JULY F 2002. CAN YOU VERIFY THIS?
