Metro Radio Club – One of the biggest ham clubs in Toronto in the 1970s

I got my basic and advanced from MRC when Norm was the President. We had over 130 guys in the radio class and in those days the Department of Communications inspectors were the teachers. I actually worked at DOC in the 80s and if I had stayed I would have been retired today with over 30 years service

I still have that 2 element Mosley beam we used for field day

    Wow, collector material… the Metro Bulletin from the Toronto Radio Club! I can remember doing newsletters with typewriters, mimeograph, etc. and cutting and pasting (layout) w/ real glue. Alas, not radio-related material in my case. I see you have been at this for awhile now, John. Congrats!
